PhD Research Presentation on Blockchain and IoT Successfully Held at MJPRU Bareilly

Bareilly: A PhD research presentation on blockchain technology and Internet of Things (IoT) was successfully conducted at the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT), Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly. Research scholar Vinay Maurya presented his research work titled “Blockchain Integrated Framework for Optimized Task Allocation in IoT Networks.”

The presentation was organised under the guidance of CSIT Department Head Prof. Vinay Rishiwal. During the session, Vinay Maurya highlighted the major challenges associated with task allocation in IoT networks, including security vulnerabilities, inefficient resource utilisation and energy limitations.

Presenting his research framework, Maurya explained that the proposed blockchain-based model addresses these challenges by enhancing network reliability, transparency, energy efficiency and security. The framework promotes effective resource management while making task execution more dependable and trustworthy.

Vinay Maurya’s research work has received recognition at both national and international levels. He has published more than seven research papers in prestigious SCIE-indexed international journals, including Elsevier’s Internet of Things Journal (Impact Factor: 7.6) and Springer’s Peer-to-Peer Networking and Applications (Impact Factor: 3.4).

Apart from these publications, several of his research papers have also been published and presented at international IEEE conferences. His research areas primarily focus on emerging technologies such as Blockchain, IoT, Cyber Security, Machine Learning and Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI).

During the presentation, faculty members, research scholars and students actively participated and raised technical queries related to the research work. Vinay Maurya provided detailed and scientifically supported responses to all questions. Experts present at the session appreciated the innovation, technical quality, practical relevance and potential industrial and social applications of the research, describing it as a valuable contribution for future studies in the field.

At the conclusion of the programme, Prof. Vinay Rishiwal and other faculty members congratulated Vinay Maurya for his successful research presentation and outstanding academic achievements. Prof. Rishiwal expressed confidence that the research would serve as a strong foundation for future developments in the fields of IoT and cyber security.
